Bergmann was ordained to be an interfaith minister on June 17, 2017, after studying at All Faiths Seminary International in New York. His primary focus is on improved relations between people of different faiths and on exploring the few but very important similarities between religious traditions. As Bergmann understands it, an interfaith minister is:
A person who facilitates relationships between people who adhere to different faiths and/or ideologies
A person who serves people’s spiritual needs by assisting with everything from spiritual care to weddings to end of life celebrations
A person who helps people who want to be spiritual in their own way (a.k.a. interspiritual) to organize their beliefs so that they do not create constant inner battles
In addition to running Harmony Interfaith Initiative, Bergmann offers his services as a wedding celebrant in Central Texas. He specializes in interfaith, non-denominational, humanistic, and spiritual-but-not-religious services. His ultimate concern is the couple's comfort with his presence during the big day and he makes an effort to personalize every service. For a no-obligation consultation, please fill out the form below.
