Gudjon Bergmann

BIOGRAPHY

Gudjon—pronounced the opposite of Bad-John—Bergmann was born on December 24, 1972, in Reykjavik, Iceland, and spent the early years of his career in the music industry. After he was introduced to yoga in 1996 and turned his life turned around in 1999, Bergmann met his wife Jóhanna in 2000. They got married in 2001 and have two children.

​In 2010, the entire family moved to Texas. Gudjon became a US citizen in 2013 and was ordained as an Interfaith Minister in 2017 after studying at All Faiths Seminary International. He has written twenty five books and trained thousands of people, both in person and online.

Today, Bergmann is a creator of books and music who nurtures his deep interest in humanism, spirituality, and the world's religions.
In addition to his love for spirituality and human development, Bergmann enjoys all forms of music, Kung Fu movies, satirical comedy—especially Monty Python and Kurt Vonnegut—hiking, family time, and meaningful conversations about religion, spirituality, and philosophy. He currently lives in Kyle, a small town just south of weird in Texas, where he writes, speaks, offers his ministerial services, and makes music. ​
